It's chilly out this morning, which sort of matches my mood. As is the usual, the bad news just piled itself on yesterday. Sometimes I swear I don't know why I get out of bed. I just keep thinking... someday..SOMEDAY.. I'll get mine!! (be it reward or revenge.. at this point I dont really care which)

A prospect of monetary income disappeared, a love interest fizzled, the arthritis reared its ugly head.. hell even the weather was crappy.

Today's not looking all that promising either.. maybe I'll go kick a puppy and feel better (kidding!)

So much for writing every day haha! It's been so hot and sticky and miserable here.. and this chair is sooo uncomfortable.. and I've got tons on my mind that I can't seem to put into words.. and.. and.. and....

All excuses aside, the kids are all still sleeping and I'm alone for a minute with the sounds and smells of coffee brewing and I'm loving it!

I took the kids and mom to see my other son last night. It went incredibly well. I won't go into details about the situation here because nobody really needs to know anything other than we're in the home stretch of a difficult journey that none of us asked for or deserved. My son wants to come home with us and we want him home. It's up to a judge now which is ridiculous to me, but so be it. I just have to trust it comes out as it should.

My oldest is planning his graduation party. I know I'm way to young to have a 19 yr old boy right? I SAID... RIGHT?! hahaha I'm so proud of him! Now if only he could find a job :P

Other than that.. things are pretty status quo on the home front. Besides.. I need coffee before I can write more lol

So far today, it's looking pretty gloomy, weatherwise. It's still early though and the birds are making plenty of racket, so that's fairly encouraging lol. Summer so far has been disappointing. I remember when I was young, we'd spend every day, morning to night, from the day school let out up until the day we started back .. just OUT. Biking, swimming, camping, hiking.. just out. It was sunny, and hot, and we loved every minute of it. I feel sorry for my kids sometimes when it's cold and soggy out. Video games and movies only stretch so far and then they're bored. Can't say I blame them. I'm kinda bored already too lol

So it's Saturday morning, almost 9, but it feels like it's still the middle of the night. Thunderstorms came through last night and it's still raining and gloomy this morning. At least it's warm though!

I like to try to grab a cup of coffee and collect my thoughts before the kids wake up but it almost never happens that way. This morning was no different, except for the fact that my oldest had a friend spend the night, so there's an extra kid. They're all awake and playing video games.. yippee!

I can see a baby rabbit outside the kitchen window as I sit here. He's munching clover for his breakfast, seemingly not bothered by the rain, or anything else for that matter. What I wouldn't give to have that freedom sometimes! Of course I wouldn't trade my family for anything, but just to be alone with my thoughts for a few minutes out of the day would be heavenly... or maybe hellish! Maybe I should rethink this hahaha

Sounds like a peaceful Saturday. I am at work... wishing I was enjoying a quiet cup of coffee and looking out the window at baby rabbits. :D

So I've made it fairly quickly from whelp to mosquito, just as I thought I would. This isn't my first time around here so I've gotten to know how things work fairly well. I plan to make an effort to journal every day, even if it's just a sentence or two. I'm not feeling very poetic or imaginative at the moment so the two poems on my profile will have to do for now. I don't plan on revealing many personal details about myself at the moment, so if the bits I have written have sparked an interest, by all means, feel free to drop me a line. Who can't use a new friend every now and then?

Oh and if you're wondering why Eris? Ohhh my life, especially where men and other women were involved, has always been in turmoil and discord... so it seemed sort of appropriate heh...
